The future of airline fees: What you're likely to pay more for

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- What's the next big thing on the fee front for airlines?

David Cush, CEO of San Francisco-based Virgin America, thinks it should be a change in baggage fees. Speaking at an airline conference in Phoenix earlier this month, he said the way major airlines charge for bags is backward and doesn't make sense economically.

After an eventful first month in Thailand, we were looking to get away from the bombs in Khon Kaen for a little R&R. Fortunately, an opportunity presented itself. Charlie's friend has a houseboat in Lampang, about 2 hours outside Chiang Mai, and we had an invitation to board. I was itching to see Chiang Mai anyways, so we figured we'd make a trip out of it.
