Quebec Winter Carnival at Night

The lighting at night gives a magical touch to Quebec Winter Carnival.

Lights are everywhere at Carnival time giving a festive touch to Quebec City.

The illumination of the ice sculptures and the castle is quite spectacular and gives a whole different effect than what is seen during the day.

The night parades are anticipated events every year.  The first parade is held on the second Saturday of Carnival in the Charlesbourg district of the city.  The second night parade is held on the third (and last) Saturday of Carnival.

Day or night, Carnival is an event not to be missed.  It is great to experience 'la joie de vivre' of Quebec Winter Carnival.
